This four session plan aims to give you the tools you need to begin to reset your relationship with food and stop the kitchen becoming a battleground. It’s not about quick fixes, it’s about developing new habits and re-addressing relationships with food.
I use a non-diet approach and help you to to reach your health goals using Intuitive Eating practices. These incorporate evidence-based nutrition, self care and body acceptance and help you to break the cycle of yo-yo dieting and feel normal around food again.
This includes an initial 1 hour virtual consultation plus 3 additional 50 minute minute follow-ups – spaced out to suit your schedule – plus email and phone support should you need it.
At our initial consultation we’ll meet up and discuss your reasons for seeing a dietitian, your health goals, any medical concerns and work towards creating an action plan for you going forwards.
After an initial assessment to discover your Intuitive Eating score, we’ll have a look at the 10 principles of Intuitive Eating and how each one fits with you, your life and your health goals. You’ll get worksheets with activities & experiments to try between sessions so you can put into practice what we’ve covered.
Incorporating the principles of Intuitive Eating into your life isn’t a quick fix; you get out what you put in and it’s an ongoing, nuanced process towards a more positive relationship with food and your body – as such you’ll be able to refer to these worksheets and check-in with your progress further down the line.
Between sessions I’ll be there to reply to any queries you may have and aim to respond within 24 hours. I can work with you to develop personalised meal ideas and recipes that fit with your work and lifestyle and help you to figure out realistic, positive and sustainable changes you can make to improve your health and wellbeing.
Over the follow-up sessions we’ll take another look at your goals, see what’s working and how you can continue to implement these changes as you progress. At the end of these 4 sessions, we’ll check in and re-assess your Intuitive Eating Score.
